Jennie Bourgeois

Some people write books because they have a story to tell. Jennie writes because she has a deep desire to help others discover God's story for themselves. Whether designing classroom lessons, interpreting between Deaf and hearing individuals, or creating Christ-centered books and educational resources, one calling has remained at the center of her life: helping people understand truth and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Jennie became a follower of Jesus Christ while she was in high school, beginning a journey of faith that has continued to deepen through different seasons of her life. After graduation, she attended Bible college, where she developed a stronger foundation in Scripture and a growing love for studying God's Word. Later, she earned her bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University and a Master's Degree in Education from Northeastern University in Boston, combining her passion for learning with a love for teaching and developing educational resources. Although she enjoyed teaching students in elementary, middle, and high school classrooms, it wasn't standing at the front of the room that energized her most. Her greatest joy came through designing engaging lessons, developing curriculum, and creating resources that helped students discover concepts for themselves. She loved taking difficult ideas and presenting them in ways that were clear, practical, and meaningful—not only for students, but also for fellow educators who could use those resources in their own classrooms.
